I am a night shift worker and was just lurking about because most of the people I talk to at this time seem to be off-line. I actually clicked into your space because it shows you as on-line at the moment and thought I would pop across to say hello.

Is septugenarian indicating 70s? or 90s? I am not trying to be rude, but I always thought September was called that because it was the ninth month but my logic may have fallen down a bit.

I am 3 years off retirement as from today (I am 57 today) and I can't wait - there is so much I want to do!

I hope you don't mind me breaking into your space and having a chat. I'll move off now in case you don't want a wittering granny cluttering up your space.

I am so sorry, I thought I had replied to you!!. Thank you for writin to me. My septuagenarian means 70's and I celebrated my 75th birthday on the 23rd May 2003 with the most marvellous fancydress virtual party. I believe tht I received over 300 postings from friends all over the world. It was wonderful!!.

Now I am coming up to my 76th birthday. I do not feel it however, the only problem I have is getting around!!.

I must now go and watch Ireland playing Wales. I love watching Rugby but yesterday afternoon's game between England and Scotland was one of the most murderous I have ever senn. Horrid.

I have one great grandchild and one on the way. Wonderful!!/

I have just been lurking about a bit and came across the eyes by your name, so thought I would pop in with a and a piece of and see how you are.

Have had a hectic month: two grandsons had birthdays within a week of each other, and a close friend turned 40 with the usual celebrations that go with it. Exhausted now!
