Ah, no worries, dahling!
Life is just grand, I'm currently on winter break....at my parents house. They are stuffing me full of yummy holiday treats, without any negatives motives....
So Very nice. I love holidays! No class. No tests. And lots of yummy books, cider, and sweets!
(I've forgotten almost all other smileys now....Alas, I have sinned upon the bbc community!)

its been a funny (
not ha ha) year for me
my sister had a baby and my father died 
so its been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster for me but its going ok now

Still working in the same place, bored, but its an easy job and I get 7 days off a fortnight

currently on 'Eats, Shoots and Leaves', so I may master apostrophes eventually
recently finished 'The Floating Book' about sex, love and printing in 15th century Venice and 'Q', a sort of spy story set during the Peasant and Anabaptist Revolts in 16th century Holland and Germany, both very good
not done much exciting although I now have an Edited Guide entry and I'm going to Peru next year

no, the Sherlock Holmes one was one of those front page things where lots of people chip in little bits and the Anxiety Disorders and Phobias one I told the author about some personal experiences and he was kind enough to add me to the researcher list, but the 2nd 1 took a lot less time than the 1st and I've started researching my 3rd

it took me about a year from joining to write one so I'm not really competing with the half dozen people who have 100+ yet (and they can probably rest safely on their laurels ). Your first entry was done quite quickly. I remember it being on the front page
