I have read what you put about your TV and unpacking the PC, i have PC also but one need's a new keyboard it's not upto date as this does not have any erm USB's connections its just a poxy windows98 i supose it's better than nothing at all lol, i'm not even on the net yet, still using this poxy Telewest system, i did give it up a few months ago, and got myself FreeView, to find it was over heating so that had to go back, now i'm stuck with this poxy box all over again, and getting onto here is'nt easy anymore what with them changing to DNA, all i get is a black background with blue & yellow text but can goto Change Text Only Settings,,anyway hope you are well chat soon tgc

Of course I remember you! I haven't seen any of the old gang really, not since they fried the last decent link for digiboxers. I too was stuck with that other one and got sooooooooooo sick of it. It kept kicking me out after I posted so I didn't come on here so much.

Im good, other than having some issues and dramas and burglar chasing incidents while trying to watch Rocky Horror, other than that, its all going pretty much as usual here!
Seriously, Ive been mega busy. Trying, and failing to build a decent website, writing the book and tons of fanfic on top of that. Family stuff and dramas, but I guess they're a side effect of having relatives. Oh, and meeting deliciously wonderful and perfect women.. well, woman!
She's brilliant but there is one flaw.... we live way to far away from each other, hopefully I can get my butt into gear and get over to visit.... I might not come back, she might not let me!!

Take care of yourselves, telepest might be cr@p for some things but I recommened getting yourself netted up mate, theres some brill stuff to see and learn and if you get it via telepest, they are surprisingly good. I've been up and running about 4 months and on the one occasion I had to call them, they were brilliant.

where can i find Alex? I don't think Seans been on here for ages, it's so complcating now how you get on here first you have to be able to log on and out and the only way i've found is i used to get news letter emails from and i can't remember who now lol then you have to press text only then the eddication page which you end up with all the background black and the text in yellow and blue press A-Z go onto H scroll down to H2G2 then onto your space, it's a bit of a pain in the BUM! but if it was'nt for kow well i would'nt be here, and what with H2G2 changing over to DNA it's just getting to difficult to get onto here and from what i've been told someone that used to be a digi box user then having a PC decided to contact Telepest, they put up the firewall, what i don't understand is i pay TV lisence and an exstra £5.50 a month just to have the cheapest TV package which in all i can get for free on a set top box which i've had, so i don't see any problem why Telepest won't let us use this as the BBC is free with paying a television lisence. I hope your web site comes together for you, my brother as one of them a silly name really, infact he used to be on here and as an ace as he as told me. Me i'm cool i've been with my partner Dave for 1yr & 4months but we are not living together we live a 102 miles apart he lives Shropshire were i live Doncaster,anyway i'll be seeing him this weekend coming can't wait to be honest infact not long since i come off the phone to him after spending 2hrs 33mins lol. So your with Telewest Broadband can you tell me how much a month it is plz, cus me and Dave was working somthing out cus i'm never at home these day's only between 2 or 3 weeks in a month i'm ever at home and if i was to have Broadband would i be wasting my money in getting one off payment for the month instead of paying per min, do you have to pay a connection charge? How do they connect it-into the back of your cable box? Cus my bro he's on BT he as this wee box with lights on it from his telephone socket, before i can get on the net one needs a new keyboard as the "@" key don't work at all, i've even took it to bits and cleaned it but nothing,it's windows98 is that old? As my dad and others say people still use windows98, i'm not very technical either and things like printers have USB cable my PC dont even have a USB need to buy seperate from Argos priced at £24 oh well wish i had plenty money buy a new one also wished i had plenty money move closer to Dave cus the house prices down there rip off.. You are right, it was an ex-digiboxer who had the good link fried. Talk about hypocrite. He was going onandon about how anyone who wasn't paying for the net shouldnt be allowed to use the site, I agree with you, we pay exorbedent prices for the tv license and if theres a way to access the bbc website thru telepest, then why not!!?
Anyhow, Im not getting into that row all over again, some people just need to mind theirown business, no=one was hurting him, buthe's been pretty much hounded out. No one;s seen him since. I think herealised that a lot of the people he had nuked were his friends and theones who aupported him when he was being a and without them, everyone joined forces and turned on him and now he's vanished. Like most bullies he's greatwith all his friends, but on his own, he's nothing!

I have the cheapest braodband package from telewest. Its £17.99p/m. They come and fit it all for free if you're an existing customer and it takes about 45minutes. They attach it to the main junction box that comes into your house, and coz its broadband, you can use the phone and stuff at the same time. You do have a download limit but if you're not using it for workoranything, just downloading songs/video and stuff, then you never reach it so dont have to pay excess.
You do need USB ports to connect the net up, if you look on the interactive on the tv, then it tells you what you need, either that, or you can call them and just enquire, they're surprisingly helpful. Personally, Id recommened trying to save for a new computer, or get one on finance, thats why I did. Its cheaper than you;d think. Ionly pay out about £45 a month for the computer and net.

Hi Willow, well i'm afraid im leaving, and i wont be having Broadband for the PC cus i can not aford another one and the one i have is JUNK! The reson why i'm leaving is cus it's getting harder and harder getting on here, and one day i'll try and this way will be fryed too so think i should get used to it now,oh i sent you a long email and like everyone els no one bothers these day's to reply, and this place so i might as well just leave cus i come in have a look and it'll say NO POSTS-REPLYS so i waist my time about 20mins trying to get on this place, all PC users have to do is just press a few buttons and zap your in,i just can't be botherd no more it gives me headaches anyway so it was nice to know your still on here and your well, but it's time i said bye bye

Oh i forgot to mention there's even a cheaper package on broadband £14.99 same 30MG or is it 30MB oh i can't remember i don't understand all these 25mbs etc and 1mb, to compicating for me.
