Festive drinkypoos are fine..I used to drink vodka until I found out that in excess it can seriously damage your liver(but I am talking bucketloads here!)everything in moderation I say..so enjoy yourself.
What has concerned me recently though with regards to my 18 year old daughter is going to clubs and pubs and having drinks bought for her.These days everywoman(and men apparently)have to be extra vigilant that nothing untoward is popped into your drink when your not aware of it.
Just a wee word of caution but I'm sure your worldly wise enough for that!

Sweetie i think at 44 yrs old i could tld tell you more about the pitfalls of alcohol than you could imagine. One of that main reasons i very rarely drink is because my dad was an alcoholic 
it killed him in the end. My drinking years are well and truly over, but that does'nt mean i wont partake in the odd tipple now and again.
As for having a drink "spiked" i've been there and ended up in A&E.
Its not like that in my village, only if you go to a club which i don't..
....Hang on why do i feel i've just been told of for having a couple of drinks!! 
i'll just go and hang my head in shame somewhere!!
