Hello loonycat, guitar? Oh yes there's an invisible one in here somewhere, I have a vague memory of it. A strat no less, do you like guitars?

Hi Artisan, I meant the one with a flag in the background!
I have learnt to appreciate guitars through my other half, he has two.

Hi again loonycat, sorry for the confusion but I'm on a digibox connection which is a low-graphic affair and I cannot see the guitar any more-just to let you understand! ahem..
A man after my own heart then, I have two acoustic and two old electric guitars at home. I favour one acoustic for the occasional strum or sing-along, and that's my Jim Deacon. A nice cheaply structured piece of japanese firewood which has been good to me over the years, so can't complain. The other is a Tanglewood, a top-class piece of work for the money that was paid for it, it tends to lie dormant in it's carry case-don't know why
The electric have been long forgotten as they are noisy beggars.
Do you play? , I bet you have at least tried or been asked too

Hubby has an acoustic bought for the same reason as you, to keep the noise down, and an electric!
However, last year he got himself a thin amp so he can rig himself up to the music system, play along with headphones on and we hardly hear a thing!
Yes, he did try to teach me once but I'm not musically talented.
He has taught lots of friends and family over the years.
