h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

The job... its really relaly dull.... and if/when I take it full time, or at least full time/part time (if you see what I mean), I'm gona have to work real hard to just make as much as I were getting before taking a job and its pretty.... well... boring and I don't like it much. plus the working from home bit is I guess just too great; too easily distracted by things I use garlic a lot in cooking, including a bit in most chinese things I do I got a bit of chicken breast fillet out to defrost earlier, so it'l be something with chicken breast tonight, and mushrooms, an onion, and probably celery... ahh, and use up the last rasher of the loverly organic bacon I've got... sounds like ingrediants for a nice big risotto to me aborio rice, chicken diced, bacon finely chopped, onion diced, celery diced, mushrooms sliced, chicken stock, mixed herbs, white wine vinigar, fresh ground black pepper, goats cheese So when shall we go to Amsterdam? talking of work; I actually made some money today did twenty mins work, which was a couple of calls; the second one actually managed to get the guy and booked an appointment well thats a hundred quid; though I don't get the money till the appointment has actually taken place (so loose it if they cancel before hand), so that won't be mine till October ought to get on do a few more calls Now

I missed you last night but was realy busy in work ........this ad campaign isn't doing ME any favours

Don't think I could do your job.........I hate cold calling people and altho I work on the telephones all night, am a bit of a telephobe at home ........does that sound daft or what???

When would you like to go to Amsterdam? am sure we could arrange something before Xmas

Hmm, how about October? thats always a quiet month yeh, I don't mind the cold calling too* much, but the whole thing is just boring! So, a five star hotel? Ensuit? Double? Twin? < do we fly out?

Well... WE'd arranged to meet up a long long while ago you see but I don't even know as yet if we'l get on when we meet up Domesticated man... yeh, thats me.... 29 years old nearly and already bowing under the pressure of society's expectations of 'modern man' I like to think of myself as balanced, just as likely to find me out of my head on booze on a Friday night, or at home siping expensive Champain or red wine, or mopping and cleaning the house I also do basic repairs and DIY and I don't always injury myself when I do it

Well...........I hope when you DO meet that everything goes ticketyboo ......am sure it'll be just fine and in the meantime, if I do manage to get to Cambridge to see my old school friend......do you still want to meet up for a drink?

I don't mind doing the housework too much, except for the ironing which I loathe with avengeance ......if the way to a mans heart is thro his stomach,then the way to mine is a man who is good with an iron

You can keep the champagne, overrated crap as far as I'm concerned and I've drunk some of the best, but a nice bottle of red wine........mmmmmmmmmmm now that's a different story or a glass of Southern Comfort on the rocks would be just as acceptable!

Afraid I've a phobia of irons! I have absolutely no idea how one woul deven go about using one Yeh, I'd still love to meet up for a drink whilst you are in town If you let me know when it is, and we can exchange Emails befor hand and I can give you my mobile number, and we can decide on a pub I've not had champaign in ages, I'm more a red wine fan anyhow and real ale and a little fond of a nice G and T, or vodka or a good whisky got very drunk last night went out to the pub with a friend, then back round his house to listen to music and drink cheap cider till about 3 AM

I love red wine...........can't drink white cos it gives me heartburn ......apart from that I only really drink Southern Comfort or Grolsch Lager.........am not a big beer fan

Having to work isn't very desirable but, unfortunately, the bills have to be paid and I haven't managed to find a millionaire toyboy yet who's willing to keep me in the style to which I could quite easily become accustomed

Good you got the Email, I wanted to send it before I forgot, Well, I'm not exactly* a millionaire though I am a man of 'independant wealth' to an extent Though I too have to try and do this crazy thing called work, or it'l just be a matter of time before I've delved too deep into savings I just wish interest rates were a bit higher

very slow at t the moment I keep thinking I've been too long in the one place and should move or at least embark on something different and I've not managed to get any work done in ages asides that I was away for a week at my Dads, which was good But am beginning to get fed up with some things at the moment Oooo; have you voted yet in the HooToo elections?
