Guten Morgen Helen,

I've seen you're still online, so thought I'd answer right away
It will take months for recovery, there's a huge hole in my lung which must close again, but this will take some time. I'm only back home because I'm not contagious anymore, which was the reason why I went to hospital in the first place - I was so scared that I would perhaps infect my family
It looks as if family and friends and colleagues are all fine, though, which is a great relief as you can imagine.

Am in work early tonight because there's a big football match on in the stadium in Cardiff and they close all the streets off and then we cant get into the company car park

I spend all night typing, you'd think I could get it right by now wouldn't you

You must be tired after a long night's work, I probably couldn't type anymore, leave alone think of a telegram, as I'm already having difficulties when I'm rested
Yesterday was a bit exhausting, I hadn't a minute for me alone until late afternoon, but I went to bed early, and at the moment, I'm fine

Am fine apart from being extremely It was a long day yesterday followed by an even longer night Half our systems went down and life was difficult for a couple of hours

Awww, it's not nice to be without pc at work - nor at home, come to think of it
We've had massive pc problems at work for quite a while, which meant that we could do very few things - it's not funny to sart the working day like that
How long is your shift ?

I work a 12 hour shift.........8pm to 8am for a directory enquiry company! We were able to find the numbers for people but couldn't connect, send txts or have the number read out automatically so we had to read them out verbally

The IT guys had to come in at 2am in the morning which didn't go down too well took them about 3 hours to fix it too

How are you feeling now? Any better?

Well, I'm not too bad, just always tired and easily exhausted, I wonder when that will cease, or if it's due to the medicine I take

I bet the IT guys are paid very good for working during the night, so they shouldn't complain
Will you be at work this weekend ?
Perhaps I'll manage to stay up a little bit longer than usual, but I'm not sure .

It's hard to tell how much is the after effects of the illness and which is down to the medication I suffer from very high blood pressure and the medecine does make me feel tired Sometimes, if I forget to take all the tablets I feel a lot better well a lot less tired any! However, taking the medication is preferable to the consequences if I dont

Can see you're online but don't worry if your busy elsewhere...........am working all w/e so will be here tomorrow night as well!

Hi Helen, I didn't see this last night, so I must have been off already - the system takes hours to change your status after you've signed out
I probably shouldn't complain, the time I have to take this medication is foreseeable, whereas you'll probably have to take yours for very long
I'll try to catch you tonight, but can't promise I'll be up long enough.

Unless there's a minor medical miracle I shall be taking this medication for the rest of my life It started with my first pregnancy but went away after my daughter was born but when I was expecting my son it went sky high and never came down again after he was born Mind you, losing a few pounds in weight might help I guess and I really do have to give up smoking!!!

Can see your name online but, as you said, that doesn't necessarily mean your still here
