good morning tsarina
I'm fond of owls, too and often wake early. I'm a life member of the Owl Trust based at muncaster in Cumbria. I know owls are not bug eaters as a rule but I'm getting involved in the RSPB's big bug count. How about you?
colliejess.
I 'm not sure why I chose that nom de except that I thought I'd remember it as it related to my dog. she died just a month ago and I'm still grieving.

Good morning colliejess
I'm usually going to bed when everyone else is on their way to work.
I love owls too and a few years ago I had the pleasure of being able to watch one in my garden for a good 30 mins or so. He/she was sat on the top of my childrens swings and we just sat there and watched each other - it was wonderful I think it was either a Tawny owl or a Brown owl but I can't really remember!
I'm sorry to hear about your dog - it's always a very sad time when you lose a beloved pet. I lost mine 2 years ago but due to circumstances I've never replaced her! I do have 5 cats tho so they keep me and the children company
