Evening squire, we had a great time. Stayed up till 1 am just talking. Did you get home safe?
And I'm trying to download the ICQ program now but my connection is dodgy. I'm already on my third attempt

Have you tried Hotmail Instant Message or Gooey?

The HotmailIM just eats system resources, my computer is getting a little old and low spec now. And I've never tried Gooey. But the big ICQ download seems good. 5 meg for a messenger program, thats huge.

Ah, but it works! I've not found a prob with hotsnail and resources, but I've not checked. There is a new version out now, but I don't really have many peoples to squawk at on it.

Its good the way ICQ can do chats with lots of people. I didn't know it could do that. Another good one is Netmeeting, except you talk into a microphone and hear through the speakers. Does eat the connection speed though.

ICQ is a real hoot, except when you've got 4 or 5 people msging you at once in different sessions!.
The group chat thing is fun tho.
