Now I have got your attention, I just thought I would pop over and tell you I am interested in helping you with the updating scheme. I have spoken to Anna and she has set me some tasks

I am writing up volunteer guidelines and my simplified version of how the scheme will work. Once I have finished them I will invite you over to look at them.

I cant get into Yahoo groups anymore. I forgotten my pasword and the registered mail address no longer exists. Can someone at the towers add my new address onto the Guru and Sub-ed lists, or do I have to do it myself?

I've spotted one typo though. Under "Yes but how would it actually work?", the line saying

Do you know what happened about me becoming a Sub again? I haven't heard anything in ages.

However my home PC is in need of some major surgery. So even if you did make me a Sub right now, I couldn't do anything until its fixed.

Oh god! What happened to it?

That is Anna's domain. She is out of the office until Monday so drop her a line then.

I think it needs a new hard disk.

But then it needed to be rebuilt anyway cos of all the spyware and other junk I had installed over the last 2 years. Typical that the warenty ran out last month.

How is the pooter?

We are really starting to kick on with the Updating scheme. Are you still interested in being one of the volunteers on this?

I want to be supplying one entry to the front page by the end of June, but we might hit this target prior to that. We will then let the scheme run like this for a while and see if there are any wrinkles that need to be ironed out.

I am having a meeting with Anna today or tomorrow to finalise the last details and then I will let you know the lastest details.

The pooter is working fine now, though it did get to the point where even the bios was telling me the hard disk was stuffed.

So I am now a Sub-Ed again (), got my shiney new badge and have my first set of articles to play with. I still want to be involved in the updating system, but I have a few questions.

1. Do I we have to do normal articles as well as updates?

2. How many other updaters are there?

3. when you say "supplying one entry to the front page by the end of June", do you mean per day, week, month, or year? (you left that a little open to interpretation )

3)A week!

OK, that sounds good. Averages at about one updated article per month each. Thats seems quite manageable.
