There is definitely something about them - round here we have special bins for them and seperate bin men coume round and collect them. Sometimes if I am feeling really rebellious I * checks to see if anyone is watching * put them in the normal rubbish * shock horror *

I just tend to leave them in the corner, they seem to find the recycling bin on their own if you leave them long enough.

Well I went out and got horribly drunk on Thursday, then had my usual weekend for the rest of Easter.
Didn't see another living soul for 3 and a half days.

Hi Menza
Sounds like you had a good weekend then
* gets home and pours the drinks *
I spent 3 days alone too - however I am not sure it was the right thing to do as I was feeling rather lonely Do you enjoy soending so much time alone?
What (if anything) do you have planned for this weekend?

I actually find that I need to spend time on my own. I can get quite short tempered if I don't. And I had a few frends come and visit this weekend, although I did have Sunday to myself .
So what did you do with you weekend at home?

* rushes in at the start of a weekend *
* tries to remember what she did last weekend - it was sooo long ago! *
Its been a busy week for me at work but from what I reacll last week was great. I did get some tome at home but on Sat I had my hair cut and then went and flew commercial planes
* waits for Menza to recover *
I have never flown before and when you are as uncordinated as I its no mean feat! I flew an airbus and a 737 - you know take off, flying, fasten your seat belt signs and everything!
OK so they were simulators - but the ones that they train real pilots on - it was so cool!
Sunda I went for a lovely walk round here which I really enjoyed before joining some friends for an early evening drink in a village about 10 mins from here by car (our local has not been rebuilt yet - they say it will be best part of 2 years )
So how has life been with you?

Not too bad, although work has been a little stressful recently.
But I got a new computer game so I don't care.

Tired and about to go to bed. I never have got the online timing thing down right.
I'm OK, had a wierd week though. The parents came over to stay to do a little site seeing and stuff. Which was very odd not having the place to my self. They plan to go home tomorrow so I can have a few days to myself before its back to the grind.
*slurps on *
So what have you been up to? Anything planned for the Bank holiday?

* wakes up again *
Sorry - its been a long couple of weeks - way too many ours at work. We are really busy at the moment and to top it all off we are doing a big recruitment campaign and running special Talent Spotting Days once a week - and every other on is on a Saturday!
I have a really lazy bank holiday planned - the less I can do the better! I should clean and do laundry etc I guess. Today I have had my hair cut, been for a lovely long walk and contemplate by the river in Henley and now I am here
I have a strange couple of weeks ahead - will be in London on Tuesday, Brum Weds, Oxford on Thurs, Brum again Fri & Sat - hope to make the Reading meet Sat night then back to Brum on Sunday as I am on an early flight to France (for work) on MOnday. Before coming home again on Friday. My RL friends have given up calling me at ome as I am there so little = thank goodness for mobiles so at least I am on the same number all the time
Did your parents enjoy their visit?
What do you have planned for the weekend?
* sips her own *

The did enjoy their visit, and I had a good week off work.
And now that the parents are gone I plan for lots of lounging, and perhaps some dozing.

Oh I know - I spent yesterday in London at big serious meetings - three of them one three hours and two of two + lots of other one to ones
Still met up with Abi after and had a giggle - definitely to be recommended. Meant I was home late and had an early start today but the good news is I got to come home tonight too - makes a very pleasing change.
How is the rest of your week shaping up?

Annoying, I have lots of urgent work that needs doing but it all relies of other people getting back to me. And they aren't. So I'm having to do other stuff. But at least thats sort of relaxing, cos when people starts shouting I know its not my fault.
