Just the walls now.

Going to spend tomorrow and Thursday on it, then Friday going to the Leisure Centre with my daughter for a treat.

As we used emulsion and there were 2 of us doing it we managed to do the ceiling and the walls on one day.

So it only took us 5 days to do the whole flat.

Bedrooms aren't to bad as long as you can get round the walls without have to move the bed too far.

That was a busy weekend then.

I didn't do anything at the weekend.
I can't, I have my 8 y.o. running round.
I did all the painting yesterday {Monday}.

It was lovely to wake up to a finished project this morning instead of what I've been looking at for the last few weeks.

I felt like that when we finished my flat, although it might have been the paint fumes.

Strange but the paint I used had no smell whatsoever.
You could only tell I was decorating by my paint-spattered jeans & hair, and the step-ladder leant against my bedroom window

We had to do my window frame with this wood stain stuff that stank for a few days.

I did get a little painty, especially when the handle on the roller broke and I painted my face.

The new flooring is going to have to wait till the new year, I think.
It'll be cheaper in the new year sales!
With Christmas looming, I don't want to take on any debts.
Today is my last "free" day {till 3.30pm} until the 29th Oct.
I was going to go do a pre-Xmas perusal in Grimsby but looking outside, it's cold & damp...
I did tape 2 programmes last night but it seems a shame to stay in when I'm free as a
