What's new and exciting?

American football season started this past weekend

Well, the only exciting thing I can think of is that England thrashed Germany 5 1 just over a week ago in the world cup qualifier.

As for new, there are 2 new holes in my gum where my wisdom teeth used to be.

Did they knock you out when they removed them?

I had all four of mine taken out at once (like I could afford less wisdom). They gave me a little pill that had me hallucinating in the office and unconscious as soon as I was in the dentist's chair.

I woke up 30 hours later on the sofa in my parents' house.

This was a full on hospital job and I was out cold all the way through.

They inject some stuff into the back of your hand. Its cold so you can feel it move up the vein in your arm and as soon as it gets to the base of your neck the ceiling turns sideways and your eyes start working independantly.

Oooh. That sounds fun.

That only lasted about 30 seconds though cos the next thing they injected was the anasthetic.

Why is such pleasure always so fleeting?

So how are you doing?

Pretty good all things considered.

Tuesday was a bit crazy here at work with hysterical parents wanting to take their kids home early and stuff.

We're getting back to normal today though.

Normal is a bit of an abstract concept at the moment.

'Normal' in the sense that my regularly scheduled insanity is returning...

Strange how the insanity always coincides with your time online.

It's when I'm at the office...

Office! Damn, I knew I should have been doing something.

I hope you're not suggesting that I *do* something when I come in to the office...

Well it does kind of justify the pay cheques.

Are you suggesting that my shining personality isn't enough?

I mean, I *do* come in to work most days...

But all these materialistic boss types expect work to be done and progress to be made. Its just not fair you know, just when you fancy a serious loaf up pops this nasty deadline. The world should be more civilized you know.
