Yes, Monsy, that's me in the bubble (I was sitting playing chess with a brother-in-law at the time, and we decided to play with my camera). I'll probably put up more recent photo's directly...
You're a poet, eh? Cool. I'm going to put my poetry back online, as soon as I get around to it.
What kind of music does your hubby play? Do they do original stuff or just covers?
My music is going to be back online soon, too. I'm currently working on some digital recordings. Only thing is, every time I start playing with my stuff, I get involved with playing with the digital stuff and end up writing a new piece and never get around to recording the old stuff I was intending to do.
The temptations of the digital world!
At any rate, glad you enjoyed the page!

can't wait to see the updates and with any luck you will not only post the new stuff but some of the old you were speaking of as well...i would love to see them
my husband does both original and covers...he is Fairly Strange and if you go to his home page you will see in one of his pages at the bottom (i think that is where it is anyway ) an entry called "Thin Ice" which is one of his that i find very good when he puts it to music ..of course i could just be a might bit partial
monsy
p.s......get that poetry up as i would absolutely love to see it

Soy-tan-lee! I'll go digging about my CD's for my poetry tonight, I guess. It ought to be simply a matter of uploading everything to a directory on one of my sites. When it's done, I'll post the link and let you know.
The music's going to take a bit longer, I'm afraid- though I do have one song in MP3 format, and ready to go. Hmmm... Guess I could dump it on Geocities or something, or baleen if Dave doesn't mind.
We'll see.

It's going to take a bit longer than I expected to find that stuff, Monsy! I thought I had done something reasonable like dump 'em onto one of my "work" CDs, but I apparently lack that much common-sense!
Hence it's either on one of my OTHER CDs (warez, etc), or I'm going to have to dig through the box of floppies I have in the closet to get the original back-ups for my poetry page. *sigh* I had my poetry on Lookup forever, but when Geocities bought them out, they deleted my entire directory! And I hadn't caught wind of the change before it was done! Oh, well- I DO have back-ups, I'm just not as sure I can find them as quickly as I had though. I'll be putting a lot of CDs into my drive tonight, I feel. hehehe.

Yes, but I rarely run it. It's a great big security hole, y'know.
I'll dredge it up, however, and when I do, I'll post my number on my page. It's actually allright, as long as you control when it runs (i.e. don't let it run it's netdetect thingie everytime you boot- otherwise you can get all kinds of weird-o's playing on your computer without even knowing it!).
I also run port-scanners and such, so I can NUKE the HELL out of anybody who wants to scam in via ICQ... hehehe.

It is done (mostly, anyway)! My poetry book is now officially BACK ONLINE! The URL is:

So click away, Monshari, and let me know how you like them. I couldn't find #14 (yet) and a couple of the images didn't get saved right, but that'll all be fixed in a day or so.

Hehehe. Maybe I just hang out with the wrong type of people? I'm pretty sure that it's people I know (and know well) who are doing most of the hacking- which is why I haven't raised the hue and cry. Of course, with the net nastyness I pursue on my own, it could be the F.B.I., or some such agency.
We have a cop who watches all our activities on the SubGenius mailing lyst- rather nice fellow, actually.
I've added more goodies to my page, too! Now you (and everyone) can have the oppourtunity to join my MAILING LIST!

"Idle hands are the devil's playground." hehehe. As F.S. noted, I have waaaaay too much time on my hands, hence, I hack. Hmmm... could be a new saying: "I'm bored, therefore I hack." Move over Descartes!
I'm glad you liked my poems! I've got another chapbook around someplace (grumbles about losing the lookup backups), I'll get around to getting it back up soon.
Thanx for joining the lyst!
