And a Happy New Year to you !! I was checking by as I noticed "Mimic" is on TV tomorrow night and I seem to remember a past conversation where you said it was a film not to be missed ???It got 3 stars in the radiotimes (therefore must be "good"!)Have you started your web design course?? we had some leaflets through the door for further education in various subjects and i ticked the send for "further info" Box for web design , 2 months later some guy turns up at the door in a suit asking when I want to start! Answer about 2006! he didn't seem to mind too much!! Eden project sounds a good place for a meet but I wonder how many researchers are located this far south? haven't been since they put birds and insects in!
Hope you are well and happy , glad to se you weren't an H2 absentee for too long!
Cheers W xx

I guess it will be 3 years this year. Round about August time for me I think.
Ah yes... Mimic... but it won't be the same on the small screen. You have the option of switching it off for starters.
The course started last week, but just involved ploughing through a load of basic computing exercises (word-processing, spreadsheets & databases). It seems I have now convinced them that I can use a computer, so they promise to let me start on the web design next week.
I'm also doing an IBT2 qualification, so I'll still be doing the boring stuff alongside learning DreamWeaver.
Originally, the meet was going to be in the Taunton area, as it's nice and accessible to all. But then C Hawke suggested Eden, which I happen to want to visit, so it seemed like a good choice. Others involved so far seem to think so too. We're even considering renting a cottage for a week(end).
Look forward to seeing you there.
Well... nice to see you're still alive and kicking. Hope R's doing well.

*manic grin* I'm going to see NMtB tomorrow... at last!
Web design is going okay(ish), though DW has some strange quirks, and I still end up editing the whole darn thing in HTML. I'll give you the link if I catch you online some time... oh... no I won't, cos I don't use AIM any more (see h2 space).

It was good, although they weren't the most exciting bunch of guests. It wsa ep 7 in the series, probably on next week. Yup... saw the Pete Burns one. Wish I'd seen that live.
