I don't think I've seen that sketch yet... or maybe I just don't recognize it. Hmm. I've been told "Life of Brian" is excellent, despite the religious stuff. One of these days... I'll either watch it at a party (a good number of my friends are Python fans) or rent it for myself.
It's 6:56 pm here.. making it 11:56 there... go to sleep. *waving pocket watch in front of your face* you're getting very sleepy, you're getting very sleepy... you're getting very... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
(whoops, that didn't work at all!)

Actually I think it did. I'm starting to feel tired.
A sure sign that I need to use h2g2 more and sleep less. Or was that the wrong way round? I'm too tired to work it out.
If you'd seen the "Larch" sketch, you WOULD remember it...

Good it worked. Worked for me, and it wasn't even seven yet. Probably a good idea to get more sleep, seeing as you already operate on a 30 hour day......
I'll have to ask some of my friends about the "Larch" sketch... maybe they can fill me in and/or find it for me.

I really hate sleep. Apparently, according to statistics, I'm going to waste something like 30 years of my life sleeping. 30 years! I'm sure I could find something better to fill that time with...

Yeah, that's true, although I've heard that most people spend about 50% of their life sleeping. Seems like an awful lot of time we could be doing something productive.
But then again, is that such a large price to pay for not having everyone impossibly grumpy all the time?

Good point...
Why couldn't God have designed us not to need sleep? Or else just left lifespans as they were, like 900 years kind of thing. That would have been fine by me...

I don't know... I've always held the belief that immortality (or whatever is close to it) gets rather boring after the first three hundred years or so. You know... you go blind and deaf and then you can't really get much done.
But if you really want someone to blame... blame all those idiots back in Genesis that caused God to do the whole flood thing... that's what screwed up the works as far as lifespans go in the first place.

Well that's certainly true...
Of course, if it was ME in that situation I would NEVER have made the same mistakes...

Actually, I think half of mankind's problems stem from that kind of attitude. "It couldn't have been me..."

Yes... people are basically the problem. Take away the people, and you have a lot less problems. But you also have a lot less people....
