Obviously.

It got over 90 today here... and humid as all get out. Like I usually say, the heat's not so bad, but it's the humidity that kills you. God bless the person who invented air conditioners... smiley - winkeye

It probably got to about 100 here today... humidity's not 100% but sure feels like it; I only know of one time when it felt more like walking through a cloud than this. It's supposed to storm sometime tonight and tomorrow... but I really don't believe the meterologists...

Snow's starting to look good... smiley - erm

Bought air conditioner to replace one in master bedroom that worked only when it deemed appropriate. That was usually when outside tempeture did not exceed 70 degrees. Of course about 6 hours after installing it rain started and tempeture is in low 70s. You may thank me for breaking the heat wave. hehe

Thank you, then... temperature's dipped here, finally, and it's raining a little. Humidity's still near 100%, though... feels horrible outside.

It has been about a week now sense i bought my air conditioner and the intire eastern seaboard has been in the mid 70s. Not a bad deal for$249.99 {plus the governers share of course} But I am a little worried about the electricity bill, maybe if I got everybody on the eastcoast to chip in .01 ............

Good luck with your first day of classes. I am going to the cape for a week in a few days for our annual family get together in hyannis. {I just hope uncle Ted dosn't drink to much as in previous years} Give you a shout when I get back. Take care.

I'm having a blast down here so far-- of course, opening weekend is always full of stuff to do. I have a feeling the fun settles down a bit later on. I'm a little nervous about classes, but I think I'll be okay.

Have fun with your family-- it really is possible. smiley - smiley

I was just kidding about uncle ted making referance to ted kennedy and the kennedy compound in hyannis. I have to remember that I am ancient {I was in junior high when Armstrong walked on the moon} and some referances that I take for granted might go past younger people.
My parents,neiece,nephew,wife and children are going 12 in all and we always have a good time.
The fun will not settle down for the next 4 years take one piece of advice from this ancient one. Enjoy yourself but remember everything in moderation. And call your parents at least a couple of times a week if not more there the best friends you will ever have. {sorry thats the dad coming out in me}
Talk to you when I get back next week. Take care

So far, I've been trying to do a little of everything, and attempting not to over- or under- do any of it. I haven't had a chance to call my parents at all this week, but I usually catch at least my mom online once a day. I'll probably call them Friday since that's my mom's birthday and my parents' anniversary.

*sigh* I just got back from work and I'm exhausted. You've no idea how glad I am that tomorrow's my day off. *passes out*
