hi jim,sorry for not replying so soon.Im trying to sort this site out im all over the place plus i haven`t had a computer long either,so please bear with me and my spelling isn`t brill either. Is this part of the site safe to talk to you about my g`uncle frank and the member of my family your mates with.I have lived in bradford most of my life so i know the area well.Is there any place were i can email or some thing to give you some details that i`m geinuine thanks simon58

then anything you send i can print and show to my friend i did the search for, that became the story/guide i wrote a few years back.

also send a copy to [email protected], this is the one i have to acsess here at home.the other is only acsess from another pc,mainly at the library.

i have been looking at what i have,ive a t and a, page of a memoriam to frank put it the paper by franks mother.

a copy of the layout of the way the raid was setout that night, (as the official name and sig at the bottom)

i also got the cwgc for all 5,that died, the other two i still cant find anything on after the camp 7, prison camp.

the cwgc, you can get from the website,to make copies here is £1 a colour copy.

i have three pages off the census, for the cooney family,1891.

a print of a liberator with the specs as they would have been,(minus the armourment data)

a page detailing the history of the 178 suadron.

and a few printouts of the messages that went between me and yorkshire tyke,before the ww2 became an archive only page.

and if you want the copy of franks birthday,(if he was born in bradford)this i can do, each cost £7, this will have his mother and father on to.

because the ww2,became an archives all the messages are lost,deleted.some had links to info.

during the search, i came on a website,malcolm charlish,(put this in the gogle)and you should find the page that eventualy got me started.i am in contact with one of the charlish family they are other side of harrogate,we exchange xmas cards.

hi jim,i have been on the web site for malcolm charlish last week and found similer story you are right its got good info. As for my great grandmother m.cooney and g`g father.J cooney did they put a little bit about frank in the T and A paper.ok im off now im going to email you now if thats ok bye for now simon58
