I miss looking after h2g2! Its good to see that its still a thriving community, that the guide is growing and that the unique mixture of intelligence and humour is still so much in evidence.
I know that there are issues with moderation especially, and some interesting debates about rules/guidelines for the community, particularly in relation to banning researchers, but its so much better that h2g2 is still here to have these moans about. It would have been so much sadder had h2g2 gone the way of so many internet companies and disapperared completely. When I spoke at Douglas' Memorial I felt that so keenly. h2g2 is one of his greatest legacies and I will always be intensely proud that I helped to set it on its way.
