How do Snow plough Drivers get to work?

If all the roads are blocked how do they get to their snowplough's?
Do they keep them at home or do they live at the station?
Is there a whole race of people who are devoted to driving snowploughs?
What do they do during the summer?
Are they cryogenically frozen then thawed out again?
Maybe they're like "disposable workers" you know, use once then throw away?
Like they die after one day so you don't have to pay them and when you want some more you just pop down to the chemist, buy some DIY workforce packs then add water?
