it's just me, blu. no crown, or anything. I wanted to make an informal and personal invitation to you to visit the Royal Court. I mean since it really is all your fault that I ended up being Queen.

That's the thing about the Guide. Never can tell where a stray comment may lead. You can end up on a beach, sipping a pina colada, or as Queen of your very own country. You just never know.

Anyway, thanks for the crown and country. I am having fun with it. Drop in any time. You will always be a Prince of a guy in my book.

Hi, blu. Have just popped round to the palace ... wow! And both Bill and I are so happy to have been appointed to such elevated positions.

Do we get to come to all the parties? Even if we might, just now and again, behave outrageously.

PS. I know a lot about MY Damogran, but not too much about others that may exist. Where DID the name come from???? Is it a DNA creation, or from somewhere else? or from the creative depths of your imagination???

Well blu, Damogran is the planet where Heart of Gold was built. It is a hot place with 'nothing but middling to large desert islands separated by very pretty but annoyingly wide stretches of ocean' and 'the island of France is about 20 miles long, five miles across the middle, sandy and crescent shaped'.

Sounds to me like a pretty good place to be Queen.

Well, Toker, it looks like you are not only a Prince of a guy--you are also material to be the Royal Cartographer.

This is probably the only reference I didnt check out in HHGTTG first. That's what I get for being lazy [and having no memory for names]. And I, who am familiar with the friendly mattresses of Squornshellous Zeta. *tch, tch*
But that's why we need a Royal Cartographer, I guess...

Perhaps the PLANET Damogran was named after the COUNTRY Damogran [of which we are Queen]. Wadda ya think? Or was it the other way around? I forget. Maybe we should ask DNA. But he is so hard to locate, because of being very busy, and all.

I think you should be the Queen of the whole planet. Just think, you will be entitled to the champagne from France, the vodka from Russia (although, perhaps Poland is better for that) the gin from England and the rum from the Caribbean. What more could her majesty want?

Ah, I don't think I could handle 'Queen of the whole planet', I am having enough trouble keeping up with all of the things going on in Damogran.

Such an unruly bunch, ya know. BTW, have you been to the fireworks? They are going off on the Royal Lawn in Queen's Court III right now.

Oh, and cant we just have reciprocal trade agreements with all those lovely places? French champagne and Russian CAVIAR! mmmmmmmm.....
rum! Polish vodka! [dont much care for the gin, but always keep a stock for others--like the tonic water pretty good, tho; you can put that vodka in it instead] One other thing: Canadian Whiskey, Crown Royal, that is. Sippin' whiskey. straight.

BTW, you are still invited to a 'formal investiture' at Court. You can pick a better/longer/more impressive title too, if you want. Just show up anytime.

Well blu, it is certainly all going on in your Court .... if you don't mind, I shall just pop round there now, to throw in my threepenneth ... I suppose, as a Prince, I am allowed certain liberties.

PS When in France (Europe, not Damogran) I had an amazing pudding ... blackcurrent sorbet (with real blackcurrents in it, would you believe) drenched in vodka .... then found my room had mysteriously disappeared ... it was eventually found.
