Apparently Jonah is staying with the All Blacks, which is probably the best decision. Well, Gloucester can't afford the £1.1million price tag; but we are now top of the league - for at least a week.
The rugby didn't have a huge following over here (really bad coverage), so it was forgotten 5 minutes after the final Home nations side went out. The England v Scotland qualifier (for Euro 2000) took over as the main sporting event and even though it's only two matches has probably had more TV coverage than the entire rugby world cup...
