Thinking of you at this tension filled time...
Glad I was flat on my back and had nothing to do with choosing this new head...
She came to our last Guv meet and kept saying, why do you do it like that? at my school we don't do that...
The TAs have had to work to their hours, which meant staying after school to file and stuff, some for 30 hrs plus, ignoring all the time they stay late and stuff they do without thinking.
So the first thing that she does is put ads out for two posts, 13.5 and 23.5 hrs, when the current ones would like in some cases to up their hours.
Has n't gone down well, without any consultation, and she is very cold, and not as nice as the last one.
I'm glad nipper only has one more yr, but the shocker is for yr 6 they have put a lady who is still very fragile after a nervous breakdown...
Can I come to your school intead??
I think at times I'm just not middle class enough...
Got SEN meeting this avo which is nice, with people who really care, like us ditz.
Then senior school guv meet, so it looks like millionaire sarnies from M&S for tea... I have been made up to the safeguarding children guv, and get to liase with the nicest staff in the school.
They have just started a self harming support group and the sense of calm and support is wonderful.
A friend of a friends son, who is admittedly no angel in yr 7, got set upon by a gang of yr 8s and was beaten unconscious. The head is dismissive about it, bit of pushing and shoving... but the police are involved. They are going to discuss it tonight, but seem to deny it happens, when I think they should send out a leaflet to kids and parents asking them about their related experiences of bullying at the school. They seem to lessen the importance of the situation, and its frustrating.
Enough ranting, hope you are feeling 100% and your lovely family.
Thought of you and Dolly when we went on a birthday money clothes spree last week. Stevie went a bit loopy in New Look and Peacocks, who to my amaxement had some really lovely cottony things. She got loads for her dosh.

Im sorry to be smug but I am floating cos it was OFSTED today and we passed with flying colours in every area....! All confidentail at this stage but basically they thought we were brill!
Said nice things about music and singing whihc was lovely cos the inspector onnly heard the kids sing in assembly.
We are heading out soon for a drink or 2.....
I know its OK for me but I do feel for you I really do.
Glad you had a good shop with Stevie..Dolly's skirts seem to get shorter by the minute.
