If it weren't hectic it wouldn't be fun.

My mother visited my house over the weekend. As much as I love her and view her as a friend, I still stressed entirely too much about the whole situation. She left a mere eight hours before some of my very craziest friends, Kris and Kate showed up on my doorstep along with two of Kris's teenage cousins. I greatly enjoy the kind of life where four random people climb into my bed just as I'm leaving it. Kris and Kate are responsible for some of the very most fun and dangerous adventures of my life. [Falling 9 feet out of a tree from a standing position (nothing broken), romping around in a jeep with nipple-high tires, power tools, water sports, halucinigenic drugs. (those last three in combination)] I think we are going to keep the life-threatening stuff to a minimum this time, though. Nothing like killing your cousins to get you in trouble. We might convince them to get their tongues pierced, though.
