No sooner had we talked about this being made into a film than a bus went by me in Nottingham advertising it gave me a bit of a jolt cos i didnt realise when i read the interview that the film was already made

It was wierd, and I'm still not sure I "got" it - if you know what I mean - reminds me of all that Boy Named It stuff too.... odd!!

it was very bizarre i cant compare it to a boy called it cos i never read them but there are some very strange people out there i guess

Yep, fine - busy at work and tired still but smiley - ok

I haven't read A Boy Named It either because I found the idea of it very off-putting. There is only so much pain and suffering that I want to read about....

i generally read to be either uplifted or taken away ( if you know what i mean )and i dont really like to read about abused or neglected kids or animals
night listener was, however different - for a start the detail was just enough for you to know the child was badly treated and no more - however i didnt really get it tho having read the interview i do see that where it was going - it was the bit at the end about his father that threw me
