h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi Kalu; welcome to the team!

I don't know a lot about baseball (Don't tell frink). I just stand at first base with my pattented Rogersia-leaf glove and interfere with as much as I can. I have devised secret ways of protecting my beer; which seems to go a long way towards meeting the requirements of first base... whatever they actually are. "Pinch hitter" sounds a little onerous. Having the ability to pretend to be fourteen feet tall will, no doubt, prove to be a huge asset.

This would probably be a good point to post the team motto; but I don't think there is one. Perhaps that should be TVF's next contest. Cheers!

yeah, all the other teams have much fear in their hearts when they hear of my great size, that is until i show up, and they see that i am normal (well, not really normal, but close). with all the positions pretty well taken, i thought that pinch hitter would be a good option for me (and it doesnt require a lot of work). i wont mention to frink about the playing problem, no worries.
you know, i think that the cheer contest is a great idea. you should mention it to frink. i mean, now that the naming the team contest is drawing to an end, we have to have something else to occupy our time with!
WOW, you have a lot of guide entries. color me a shade of impressed (i think a lighter shade would work with my skin tone). esp the entry on Java, which i keep trying to make myself learn, but just dont have the drive for at the present time (instead i like to use my time productivly, like here in the guide)

JTG did suggest a motto-drive for the team, and I'll be doing that once we wrap up the team name thing in a week or two.

And no, I'm not forum crashing today, I'm too busy working on my latest article (hint hint!)

The list of things you thought were attributed to me is misleading. For most, including the "Java" (to me, it's still coffee), I'm just proof-reader/"i"-dotter. I'm still game for the body painting though.
