Saw your comments on American beer. Having moved to Corpus Christi in the past year, I have just discovered Shiner Bock, and I must say I agree it is a fine beer. I also found out that I could have had a Shiner when I lived in Colorado, by why dwell on the past?
Did you spend enough time in Colorado to try a New Belgium Brewery beer? Probably had a Fat Tire or Sunshine Wheat if you did. That stuff is my favorite, although Shiner gives it a run for its money. New Belgium just started distributing in Texas (in fact, I can get it at the local HEB), so you might try it if you haven't yet. Both New Belgium beers are light (a pale and a wheat) but tasty, especially with a lemon wedge.
Ok, enough beer-talk for now. Pop on over for a cold one sometime.
Cheers,
Frink

hey frink, thanks for dropping by.
i HAVE had Fat Tire, what a great beer. it is becoming more popular right now in the austin area, the other one i will look for (although it sounds a little too light for my tastes) pale ales i love.
great page!!
i was really impressed when i went there. i thought to myself, "here is a man (i am assuming you are male, is that wrong?) with either too much time on his hands, or he is like me and puts work off" lucky stiff, i dont have that luxury right now actually i need to get some pages up, but first, to finish the book(s) again, for at least time number 10
which is where i will retire to for now.
cheers

Yes, I am male. At least, that's what the doctor told me back in the beginning. I decided to take his word.
Glad to hear you have enjoyed Fat Tire, and even more glad to hear it is gaining popularity in your area. We remember when you could only get it at certain places in Colorado, and thus have a soft spot for it and hope it does well (I especially hope it does well here so they keep selling it).
Thanks for the positive feedback on my page. I have some time on my hands, but I spend more time here at H2G2 than I have available. Since they expect me at work for at least 40 hours a week, I can't put off work, and so I put off sleep instead. Oh well.
Speaking of which,
zzzzzzzz
