When are they on? ON BBC7 or radio 4?

BBC7 - tho' i think they have ran out of episodes with Willie in now...

Shame...now I have finished work for the summer(I'm a teacher) teh best thing is being able to listen to Radio 4 during the day, I'm a huge fan.
I even have to admit to being a bit of an Archers Addict...but don't tell everyone!

I'm off to the Oxfam shop with a car of books whihc I no longer read. I can't just throw them out but a lot are kids books or ref which are filling up my shelves. I hate culling books but they are going to a good cause. Might just have to buy a few while I'm there.
Just finished listening to a programme about memeory on R4 and there was a lady whose memory wa swiped out after an illness. She no longer knew who anybody was. How frightening!

Me, no - I'm a man of leisure (and skint !) thinking of getting back into work - but at the mo, waiting for my dad's flat to be sold and helping him (when back in Bristol) with the final upgrades & redecoration of chez K

so will Bristol be home for you? Went there a couple of years ago while staying in Bath. WE went to a fab hands on science place by teh docks.
I would like to go aagain to do the Brunel thing. I like Isambard..strange character for ablonde girly to like but at Sec school i was in a musical about him and played teh part of his wife! The lead role you understand. My best friend Pete played the man himself.

Yup - A fully paid up Bristolian ....

Burnel was a great character, very lucky too -he walked away almost unharmed from a no of accidents, including falling down a ladder during the construction of (I think) the S.S. Great Britain and landing on a worker 20 ft below !! - and hopeless at tunnells

He was extarordinary..wouldn't have fancied building teh tunnel under the Thames with him. Got a coin stuck in his throat as well and managed to remove it by strapping himself to a board and getting his friends to spin him around. Good dinnerparty entertainment!
He built a tunnel at Box Hill a certian way as well..cant remember how, something to do with the sunrise..I'ma host of useless info about IKB..his birthday is April (th..same day as my friend who played him at school!

I used to be a postman (before going slightly postal )...taken 5 years to get my head together enough to be able to deaql with stress & boredom without hitting the &c too much & getting depressed

Tabs and you? So what next after being a postie. My brother in law worked inna sorting office for years, now does decorating!
How did you cope with all teh early morning stints? I find it hard getting up at 6.30 for work,any early would do my head in!
