Sick Days

well its 11:20am in england and I am having a day off work.
what do i do with this glorious opportunity you may ask
Borrow a Ferrari?
Spend a day touring our glorious land?
Meet a supermodel?

Nope none of the above (I am not Ferris Bueller)
I spend it looking for another Job. It's not like there is a need to find one, its just that after a while you get bored with the same old rigmorole.
So where do you start? all the papers (a fortune of trees lying dormant on the living room floor), all the vacancy selections read and re-read and guess what .... yep, nothing too inspiring.

Next the web, checked the usual posting sites for people with my particular skills (The willingness to learn new stuff, getting bored with the mundane daily grind, want paying a fortune for the most pitful of jobs) and eventually find one thats sort of interesting. So what is this job? I DONT KNOW IT HAD GONE (probably to someone who had got up an hour earlier than me)!!

I hate sick days, great plans for the future and they always end up the same in the end, 8 hours less pay at the end of the week and the need for a more inventive excuse than the last time for the boss!

Whine over
Have a great day
