Good Mousekeeping

well i am taking my role as a parent very seriously and have nursed my beloved through one stomach upset already. Domestic mice have quite delicate systems in comparison to their wild cousins. Other then that Ben is fine - though I am a little worried that he still cannot seem to work his state of the art "sippy" water device!

Today i went shopping for more books and a few other things for his tank - mainly puzzles and a couple of ladders as he seems to have a head for heights.

Just am blowed away by how I feel about the little fellow - he has barely been in my life for 60 hours and he is all I think about. I sit on trains and read serious looking books on the subject - mind you they all seem to contradict themselves. Might ring my friend who is a vet for a quick chat about juvenile mouse nutrition.... smiley - smiley

Very Confused

The chief Exec met me at the lift this morning and said "Hello Lochangel, how are you getting on?" and then proceeded to chat away merrily.

What is going on? smiley - smiley

My New Job

It is the end of day 2 and I have not felt like this in a long long time. I am tired, my eyes ache and my brain is buzzing. But I am so happy. I had forgotten how wonderful the charitable sector is. I am stunned by the people I am working with - how warm, welcoming and down to earth they are! How easily I fit into the team! Perhaps saying the interview that I was a happy smiley person was not such a bad idea after all. The work is stimulating and I am learning new skills already! I am content at long last. Suddenly the torment of the Summer is forgotten.

Shame there is no internet access! smiley - winkeye

Ridiculously happy

that is me!

Any way today is my last day as a bottle blonde - it has been an interesting time and I am sure that gentlemen prefer them but I am happier being a brunette. So it is away with the caramel and honey chunky highlights and back to deepest dark chocolate hair and ridiculously pale skin just in time for winter. This season I shall be mostly wearing the Morticia Addams look! smiley - smiley
