That's fair enough, Jez, and I take your point. Us suspicious but mature women, maybe some of us see these things with green eyes!
Please keep making us see things as they are, and I'm happy to give her the benefit of the doubt but she is surely attracting some doubtful attention at the mo' ... we'll just have to keep an eye for her, I think.

Since you remarked on her varying style, I've had a look at some of her previous postings. Some of these are perfect English, others have the "continental construction", the words being in the wrong order for our ears. Inconsistent.

Yes, we'll keep our eyes peeled! And I'll use my German radar! (She always writes 'my dear' - shades of 'Gone With The Wind' -, but that's the common way of addressing someone in German: Mein Liebe(r).)
And now I'm off. Really!

Just saw your message, Solly. You're right - sometimes she's coherent and correct and at other times her spelling and everything is in chaos. She may be (fitfully) dyslectic. Or perhaps someone is helping her, but not always? Conjecture, I know.
'Bye for now'!

Could it be more than one person logged on with the same password? As she claims to be in a boarding school, perhaps two or more classmates?

Yes, SolZ, and good lateral thinking, I venture to add.
Erm, you don't mind being an honorary girlee, do you?!

I've been called many things. Anyway, it'll give me an excuse to go into the girls' changing rooms ...

kk Posted Jun 16, 2007
Snork ... well I see you are doing so with your eyes closed anyway, as your lights are out!
Where are you?
Solly Sid Posted Jun 16, 2007
I come, I go, I come back. The lights seem to go out with lack of use, even though the programme is still active.

kk Posted Jun 16, 2007
Yes, well, I never believed you when you offered to hold lilZ' towel and said you'd keep your eyes shut either!
The little hootoo online eyes are disconcerting at the best of times but when someone has just posted and their eyes are still shut ... that's downright unnerving.

Touché, Jez, although I believe pater has appropriated daughter's ID now (see Hi 4 Lawn, by both).

Hello, KK! (How're ya doin'?) Yes, I suddenly noticed the sex change... I'm a bit angry that I have been helping and encouraging someone (Aseaelectron) for weeks now, who is simply playing games. And how does Taxmaiden know 'he' is a 'she' when she has the same information to go on (has she?)?
You'll see I have responded in my turn to Taxmaiden's rather flippant reaction. Perhaps I'm too serious about the whole matter. But my support for the 'struggling' Aseaelectron is terminated. If he/she won't post in ML, he/she has himself/herself to blame.

Sorry, Jez, but the reason why you and drop got no support is because the regulars know who the poster is, why they've been banned and would have nothing to do with them. Don't tell me you're another one who doesn't know what wine gums are for (check messages 45 and 54).
Now the RL daughter's ID seems to have been appropriated in order to allow said poster to continue. Any poster who perseveres in the face of such special treatment at the pre-mod stage must be, well, perverse at best.
But you're right to be very very annoyed. You may have noticed a fresh thread started to ask whether our Host replies to emails and/or is civil; drop did give them the correct email address, such a shame they emailed to a hotmail address instead (a Host of a BBC message board with only a hotmail address? come on!).
Smile, you've been trolled

I discovered the meaning of 'wine gum' only later on, KK. Glitz offered one to me once, and I responded innocently. Now I know what she meant.
But yes - I've been well and truly trolled, BUT: I knew about the suspicion hanging over our famous poster, and simply wanted to give him/her a chance.
That's me...

I think you have been fair and generous as per usual, Jez, and I'm sorry that the trust has and is proving misplaced.
Think I may have given too many the benefit of the doubt in RL already, and I hoped I was wrong this time. But no.
It's been a successful bit of trolling too, as it's caused a fair amount of ill feeling already and now the stirring is blatant (as was promised, elsewhere).
The good news is that it forces me back into RL and I'm in danger of getting stuff done!

Snork, KK! (But DO get your stuff done, you know it makes sense...)

I felt some time ago that there was something wrong about Aseael... but didn't know what. Haven't a clue of previous ID.
