The thing is, I can imagine doing what she's done because the cat was trashing my keyboard at the time, or I was doing it on my iThing not on a PC and the controllability's pants, or because I had wrestled with Google Maps for 45 minutes and someone rang my mobile, or because I hadn't had any tea yet and just wasn't thinking.

I'd much rather have my neighbour say "'scuse me, did you know...." than an officious email from Google because my neighbour didn't have the courtesy or the time to treat me like a human bean.
