Review

Having just gone through some of my older posts, I can now honestly say that, back then, I was a giant numpty.

Did I REALLY write that badly??

I'm cringing here.

Echo and the Bunnymen

Going to the supermarket should be a non-anxiety inducing task.

I discovered today, however, that if you happen to be waiting outside for a taxi, anxiety is exactly what you'll get.

Such as having to nod your head and be polite while a deranged alcoholic asks you about Sammy the Bull et al, tells you about police cover-ups, how they beat him up, declared him dead for an hour, and then gave him brain surgery. And you MUST nod and agree for fear of his getting violent if you tell him what a maniacal lunatic he is, and all the while you're desperately hoping a cab will appear instantaneously.

He also mentioned how he's *not* a nasty person in the least, but when he *happened* to spend some time in a cell with Charlie Manson he felt it necessary to pee on him, burn him with cigarettes, and other things which are so vile that I daren't mention them.

I'm starting to think there is a LOT to be said for having ones groceries delivered instead of going to the shops for them.

How very scary, indeed.

Clever Trousers

It took me nearly 2 years to figure out:

A) which of the 3,479 email addy's I used here

B) the answer to my secret question thingie, which I made so bloody cryptic that I baffled myself (and no that is *not* a euphemism!!)

But once again I'm back.

Very scary.

The Remorseful Mrs. Slarti

You know.....I do this every time. I always swear that I'll get back to things I was doing and somehow, someway, and then things get put on the back burner and I forget time and time again as the days pass. Well, for the moment it seems I am back here once again.....after a 10 minute brainbashing session trying to remember my password, of course.
The only big news to happen to me in my absence, is the fact that I've FINALLY gotten published. Although it was only a short article in the local paper, it's still a step in the right direction. I wrote it, I was paid for it, and perhaps I can now say that I actually AM a writer. Good stuff that, eh??
Anyhoo...off to my posts now to see if I can't get back in the swing of things here smiley - winkeye
