Insane? I think not.

It is a well known fact that, to know and to acknowledge one's own insanity is to negate it (watch (or, even better read) Catch 22 for expansion on this theme) and thus I can only assume that your declaration of 'looneyness' is, in fact, simply mannered posturing.
Don't you think?
Phil

mrs. slartibartfast Posted May 17, 2001
AHA!! I'm not clever enough to know what posturing means therefore I MUST be insane. Then again, maybe just I'm incredibly silly.
Insane? I think not.
Phil Rose esq Posted May 17, 2001
Posturing was defined well by Madonna in the song Vogue as in 'Strike a pose.'
Insane? I think not.
mrs. slartibartfast Posted May 17, 2001
Nah then.......I'm sure I'm not posturing. I wasn't ever good at Vogue-ing nor can I strike a pose.
Insane? I think not.
mrs. slartibartfast Posted May 19, 2001
If you INSIST on calling me sane at least have the decency to do so on the offense thread!!
Insane? I think not.
Phil Rose esq Posted May 19, 2001
Just think of all those people with schizophrenia who'd give both sets of eye teeth to be sane.
Insane? I think not.
mrs. slartibartfast Posted May 19, 2001
Giving away ones eyeteeth isn't the act of a soon-to-be sane person.
Insane? I think not.
Phil Rose esq Posted May 20, 2001
Ahahahahahahahaha! Precisely. So there you are then/
Insane? I think not.

*grabs pliers and pulls out her own eyeteeth*
Insane? I think not.
mrs. slartibartfast Posted May 21, 2001
Sheesh!! The things one has to do to prove they're mad as hatters...
Insane? I think not.
Phil Rose esq Posted May 22, 2001
But why (and this just MIGHT be my point) Why would oyou want to prove such a thing?
Insane? I think not.
mrs. slartibartfast Posted May 24, 2001
Don't ask me...as i have just proved I am insane. Nothing I do ought make sense!!
Insane? I think not.
Researcher 175271 Posted May 26, 2001
I, personally, believe that everyone in the universe is insane. Everyone in THIS universe, at least.
Insane? I think not.
mrs. slartibartfast Posted May 26, 2001
Only someone insane would call all this tripe twaddle!!
Insane? I think not.
Phil Rose esq Posted May 26, 2001
And it would take a sane person to see through this twaddle and to recognise it for the tripe it so clearly is.
Insane? I think not.
mrs. slartibartfast Posted May 26, 2001
Erm......I really am insane...the tripe thing was just a very good guess!!
Insane? I think not.
Phil Rose esq Posted May 27, 2001
What I'm trying to get to the heart of is why you feel there is prestige to be gained in insanity.
Insane? I think not.

why don't you like insanity Phil?My mother (researcher Tabitca) has pratically made a career out of it.
Mrs S, it is my firm belief that cats go with insanity, although if they cause it I haven't found out yet and Hopeless (my cat) won't tell me Maybe Faboo will tell you?The cats that own you are beautiful by the way.)
