Having just gone through some of my older posts, I can now honestly say that, back then, I was a giant numpty.
Did I REALLY write that badly??

No. Who you were then wrote according to their state of being. You write differently because you are not who you were. With age comes wisdom. I get a chuckle from reading what you write.
