After enough pestering, Mark responded to my message about the Alpha Centauri page.
I went about telling him stupidly and rashly, and it was my fault that I was ignored. I have a problem doing that when responding to anything electronically. When you are in front of something you tend to tone down your responses, but on the computer you don't have to deal with the response so it is easy to fly off the handle.
