Hi SW! I just joined this forum today, and in performing searches and reading articles, getting used to the place, I found your articles on transsexualism and your personal being.

I know the feeling! -_^

I'm an American TS, currently "qualified" for my gender-corrective surgery. I have a 6-month wait ahead of me, but its far, far shorter than the three years I've spend in transition!

I noticed you asking for contact from other TSs here. Well...as I said I'm new here, but I can offer advice and experience to sisters such as you, at the beginning of her journey. Although, I must admit to ignorance of any differences between the processes requied of American transsexuals and their British counterparts.

In short: I'm not sure I could be much help to you other than being someone who understands, having been there myself. The emotion of what we endure is universal. It knows no boundaries of race or nation.

I am a bloody american. Why did you think otherwise?

For me transition is getting closer. Hormones are on the horizon, and I will tell you that I can't wait. I can't even think about SRS. It is so far away, and most of what I want will happen regardless. I only want to have sex as a woman, but sex was neverimportant for me emotionally. Now physically is a different matter, and that really is the keystone that makes me feel I'm a TS and not a cross-dresser or a TV.

It was only two short years ago that I was in the same situation as you: just beginning to think about what I planned to do about "those feelings" and looking forward to making changes and bettering myself.
