h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

i had never read Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy before (but i had watched the movie) and had never really heard of Douglas Adams until i recently bought the book the Salmon of Doubt for my father for his birthday because he wanted it. He was laughing out loud more or less the whole time so i decided to read the book to see what was so funny. Turns out that i loved every page and every story! Douglas Adams quickly turned into my favourite author and since first picking up the Salmon of Doubt i have read it so many times (i've practically stolen it from my father!).

I was shocked and upset when i found out that he had passed away. im really glad that i got to hear about Douglas Adams' work because now ive found the exact type of literature which i love to read. its so clever and funny and im trying to read all of the Douglas Adam books and interviews i can get my hands on .

i pass my condolences onto his family. his death was a great loss. he was a brilliant man
