As a big fan of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, I was sad to hear about Douglas Adams's death. I loved his work, and he has been quite a source of inspiration for me. I just wish I could've met him while he was alive, even if it only would've been in an online conversation.
It wasn't until today that I found his researcher page on h2g2, though, so I'm about 5½ years late on this, but...
So long, and thanks for all the wit. Along with everything else you have given us.
In honor and memory of Douglas Adams, I'd like to vow to use the number 42 whenever feasible, especially as a response to being asked for a random number.
