h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

 My cat has fleas.... thus, I have fleas. This is not good. I thought about buying four flea collars an wearing one on each of my wrists and ankles, but then I realized that my cat has a flea collar and that doesn't seem to help her much. So, she's going to the groomers tomorrow for a dip in pesticide and I am washing my sheets and putting dried lavendar all around my apartment. This is really depressing and rather disgusting and I'm so terribly embarassed. But I have to tell someone... and while you're listening would you mind scratching my back?

*scratch* *scratch* better? They live in the carpet so even if you de-flea your cat they will just hop back on. Bummer.

Best natural repellent for fleas is mint - just put a few sprigs under the furniture and rugs - leave it there, as it dries it continues to do the job

You should worry.My daughter came home with head lice the other week.
I have been completely paranoid ever since.
I keep checking her hair,and mine and changing all the towels and sheets.Ive disinfected all the brushes and combs -but I still feel
dirty.
Its silly really as lice only really like clean hair.I suppose its just the stigma that goes with it.
Anyway as far as I know the visitors have not returned.If schools
still had a nitty nurse the problem wouldn't be so awful in the summer months.
I say bring back Nitty Nora!!!!!
