Medical Jargon Entry

Post 1

Jeremy (trying to find his way back to dinner)

Dear Mr. President,

I have found that you are the Sub-Ed of my entry on medical jargon. I had a look at your version of it and I do think that you made an excellent job so far.

The only thing I might like to have changed is the link to the Greek alphabet. There's a page on h2g2 with the Greek alphabet _AND_ pictures of the letters:

http://www.h2g2.com/A429590

Please do not misunderstand me: I know that it's up to your sole discretion what to do with the Entry I wrote, what to change and what to leave. It's just a proposal which I consider to be useful.

Greetings and thanks for your work smiley - smiley

I'd like to add that link but unfortunately the entry in question is not in the Edited Guide, and Edited Entries cannot have links to non-edited entries. smiley - sadface

There is a edited version of the Greek Alphabet by somebody else at http://www.h2g2.com/A216073 but I personally think it's rather a pathetic entry - it has nothing original written in it and therefore I wouldn't have approved it for the Edited Guide myself. Oh and it just lists the names for the letters and doesn't show them pictorially. It may be that the official editors didn't include the graphical Greek letters because they may not show up on all computer platforms correctly.

I've linked to this page anyway, because it's the only Edited entry on Greek so far. Hopefully the situation will improve in the future.

Anyway, I think your entry is a worthy inclusion for the Guide - it's a superb idea, I'm trying to memorise a few words now for use in the future! smiley - bigeyes
