It's kind of halfway approved smiley - smiley I'm not entirely sure of the approving process, it seems to change daily! But at the moment, I've told it to be approved, edited it a bit, and told it to wander around the H2G2 system until it finds somebody official. They'll make it a properly approved article. I'm not sure how long this bit takes but there's a bit of a backlog at the moment.
But yes, it's approved, so celebrate smiley - smiley
Excellent article by the way. If I have some time one day I must write a similar article about the various foreign plants in the UK - there's Himalarian (sp?) Balsam, Japanese Knotweed, and various rhododendrens (sp?) which are happily taking over Britain, and they're all incredibly difficult to get rid of, and mildly poisonous smiley - sadface

i am popping corks and celebrating but making sure to do it quietly until it is official smiley - winkeye
i am glad you liked my article, this stuff is terrible around here, somewhere else it would be fine but our climate is to perfect for it...
i hope that you do write something about the plants in your area as i would be interested in reading about them smiley - smiley
you did mention quite a few up there that we have around here as annuals, work quite hard to get them to grow as a matter of fact LOL!!

My dad is a nature reserve warden and so I spent many happy summers of my childhood wrenching rhododendron bushes out of the ground!
Why is it that foreign plants are always the hardest to get rid of? smiley - winkeye

LOL!! i think it is because the foreign people bring them with them due to how lovely they are where they used to live before checking to find out if they will become monsters in their new home smiley - winkeye
