Hi Peregrin, I've been following your thread with Wonko - thought I would just inform a misconception you seem to have about the infallibility of the Pope. He can make an infallible statement, and once he does this, it is deemed infallible and correct. HOwever, these are few and far between and a rare occurence. Everything else the pope does is up for scrutiny. Me, myself, a practising Catholic, still question this state of fallibility - there have been a few dubios one's in history.
