Well, as I'm halfway through a 6-month contract and it takes on average 2 months to get a job here, assuming the first people you write to hire you I better get mine updated too

Can I recommend employment agencies? I've gone back to this one several times and they've never let me down.

They can be good, but it's better to find one that finds you a permanent job, not one where the agency pays you.

I've been with loads of agencies, some for over 10 years and you know what - none have them have EVER found me a job!

Yeeeeessss.......... 
But all the jobs I've found myself without agencies have been crap jobs that I hated too. And at least with temp jobs you're not stuck in the same crap job forever. You can move on to another crap job.

Well I didn't get that promotion. Somone from outside our Client Group apparently marginally shaved it over me. Not sure how much support they will be getting from me the next few days already scanning the internal jobs for opportunity.
