Sorry about that, I had to come and do something for Shazz that I'd forgotten to do at work. Oops. See how dedicated I am?

yes, we've all had a good giggle about it in the office.
We need to get people rating other articles though. It's a bit embarassing that your article's been number one for months...
So go to the site and rate some articles!!!
Including mine: A918939
And Mina, how about you writing an article?
Ha - see, I'm in nag mode...

I've been thinking about doing something about driving conditions etc. Remind me when I can do it on BBc time.
I didn't even know that articles could be rated. Quicker than Peer Review anyway.

Yeah, it's fast and doesn't take much commitment from the user. At least, that's the theory. You actually have to read the article though...
I'll e-mail you tomorrow if i remember...

For the community thing - the community decide what goes in the book so by rating you get to have a say.
Yours will almost definately be in the book so I wouldn't worry...

Is there much community though? Or do people post their article then clear off?

There's a bit, but not a lot.
Building a community isn't our primary focus, but we are trying to encourage discussions, hence the creation of a central talking point, the spaceBar (bad pun intended). Whether it will take off or not remains to be seen...

Someone is harranging me about my article, so I'm not sure that I'll bother again - I think that I've got used to there being a large Community, so fighting battles on my own is very new and strange.
