H2G2's Server Brain Cramp?
Posted Aug 19, 1999
Okay... This is suddenly gotten very weird. And it's just today I've seen it.
Seems that the parser is looking for the images for the general layout in a non-existant /images/ directory under my homepage...
eg: www.h2g2.com/U30077/images/whatever/
Not only that, it seems to be looping that for every update of the page. Is this just me?

Wow

It actually works in journals, too! (I wonder if it works in journal entries. )
Here's how:
[Header]Titlebar Text[/Header]
(Replace the square brackets ( [] ) with angle brackets (<> of course. )
In journal entries, do this where it asks for a title your post. The mess you see below is where I tried it within the text (it just shows the html code the parser generates.) Don't do it in the 'Text' box of journal entries.

Title bars revisited
Posted Aug 8, 1999
Once again, Thank You, Fenchurch! Seems I'm doing that a lot, lately.
And now, you know.
(In preview, this looks ugly, but I just _gotta_ post this and see
what it actually looks like.)
Just fun

BlueBar
Posted Jul 26, 1999
I'll bet there's a simple tag that makes those blue bars like at the top of the page... but I can't find it yet. ;-( I've tried topic, titlebar, bar, bluebar, and I don't know what all... even the title tag, which -does- seem to be the only way to center text on a page.
I also tried H1 through H3, to no avail. *sigh* ... c'mon guys! Give us a hint!

The Life and Times of the Universe
Posted Jul 21, 1999
An old friend of mine created this page, and I think it's worth having a look at when you have the time.
It is a bit lengthy, but well worth the read. Do bring a warm cozy as the ending my cause hypothermia. (It sure gave me a chill.)
