FRIDAY FEELING!!
Posted Aug 24, 2007
Ok so this is my last one for a couple of weeks whilst i'm on leave , its been a weird few days all in all, very up and down.
The upside is that i have a couple of weeks off to put my head together, I've started putting together a piece for the guide (my first one), work has eased off slightly now and my weekly talk sessions with my counseller seem to be starting to make some sort of headway.
On the otherhand it's still proving immensely hard to talk about a lot of stuff that has happened, I've had a look around on the guide and there doesn't seem to be quite information i'm looking for about it either so may have to look at doing something when i'm a bit further on. Its just very frustrating trying to cope day to day.
Anyway on to happier topics, lots of at the weekend which will be good and a night out with the girls tonight, its also my birthday on the 7th so will be off to a decent funk/soul night to celebrate.
I've been sent the following dates (US) to celebrate so thats looking a distinct possibilty!!
September 2 is National Beheading Day
September 5 is Be Late For Something Day
September 7 is Neither Rain Nor Snow Day
September 10 is Swap Ideas Day
September 13 is Defy Superstition Day
September 14 is National Cream-filled Donut Day
September 18 is National Play-doh Day
September 21 is World Gratitude Day and International Banana Festival
September 26 is National Good Neighbor Day and National Pancake day
September 28 is Ask A Stupid Question Day
Although to be fair where i am everyday seems to be the 28th Sept
Anyway there you go - my ramblings for the morning!!

Nearly mid week!!

Ok so what's been happening then?
Hull City got a point at the weekend which was not a bad result for them, Liverpool were robbed against Chelsea when the referee decided to award a penalty for a non existent challenge by Finnan, however i was at a friends watching with beer flowing freely so i coped!!
Anyway went to see my grandma yesterday - she recently moved into a residential / nursing home so she is still getting settled in and getting used to it which is quite difficult but she was ok and quite up beat which is good
Today has been tough at work - I'm sure i'm getting a cold of some description so i need lots of fruit and lemsip to get rid of it before the weekend, i'll be out drinking on the friday night then sunday i'm hoping to get out up on to the North York Moors and clear my head a bit since its feeling a little messy at the moment
Anyway need and and and

What are Hull City playing at??
Posted Aug 13, 2007
Well the weekend has been different!!
Hull City managed to lose 3-2 to Plymouth, not a good start to the season there!
Liverpool beat Aston Villa thou so thats ok but Hull KR got stuffed by Bradford on sunday so all in all not the best results really!!
Every year i get all revved up for the football season and then end up a complete gibbering wreck for the whole of it!!
Anyway its monday so yet another countdown to the weekend, hopefully the weather will stay fine so more BBQs and beer, even if it does mean i get eaten again by the damned mosquitoes!!
