I did notice two ropes being cut at once.
It seems you can stab men, shoot them with arrows, attempt to hang them, throw them off buildings but it's invisible birds being crushed that makes little boys cry.

I wonder if that kid was having chicken for dinner, that Gordon Ramsey turkey electrocution thing would have him wetting the bed and scar him for life.

I reckon that was a wind-up, anyway.
Re. Word for Word - I think I've run out of words anyway. I *was* hoping to learn something from it and be able to add a few words to my vocabulary - can you believe, the only words I can remember is 'Frell/ing' and 'Mugawump', (oh and 'Y'arr' of course) - fat lot of good *that* was then.
Are you going to start up another one?

It's your turn to start one up, I don't like starting threads.

"and it's "Mugwump", not "Mugawump"."
Just as well I haven't used it in conversation, then.
AndyD seems to be around, so I'll see if he starts another one up. Actually, thinking about it - if it's *my* thread, I can impose *my* rules, hmmmm .........

p.s. I don't like starting threads either - hardly *ever* do it on POV.

He usually seems to start up all the threads on MC - think he gave up on Word for Word though. I'm playing a few silly word games on DigitalSpy at the moment - haven't really got too into that forum yet, but it seems OK - I quite like the format - not quite as messy as the BBC forums (they all seem a bit normal on there though - haven't spotted many nutters yet!).

I've started up a new 'Word for Word' thread here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mbpointsofview/F2766775?thread=3557661 As you can see, it has got off to a great start - I can't stand the pace, to be honest.

I foresee great things with that thread.
I also foresee me wasting a lot of money on my current eBay addiction - £4.98 for a soldering iron kit, how can I resist?

Panðora Posted Oct 10, 2006
Are you sure you haven't already got one? I'm sure you said you spent 20 quid on one the other day? (The things I remember!) I reckon you've got some sort of soldering iron fetish.

Maybe I said I was considering buying one for £20, but I never did.
The one I have just blew up, so I NEED a new one, of course I have no soldering jobs to do at the moment but that's beside the point I tells you.

p.s. You're foreseeing a lot today, aren't you?!
p.p.s. I reckon you must have been worrying about that archery thing all night.

I wasn't worrying about anything, I was watching "The Sopranos" and "The Wire" til 5:30 AM.
Oh, I was also looking at 64bit motherboards and processors - I decided I need a proper job.

*Unbelievable*, isn't it?! All of a sudden everyone has become an expert in archery?! Show-offs.
