It was a busy day yesterday, yet I got very little done. 
The plan was to finish setting up my laptop so I could take it in to the hospital with me today. But I couldn't start till the District Gnurse had been and gone. 
I knew I'd have plenty of time, even though I was going out after teatime... 
The District Gnurse was late. Before she had finished I had a visit from my pal Er1c. He hung around for an hour and a half, then headed off home. I sat down to look at the laptop. 
Before I had even gathered my thoughts the doorbuzzer went again. It was my pal James "the Weird Person". He stayed for an hour and a bit. By the time I had the house to myself there was less than two hours to look at the laptop, and I had a load of other "incidental things"** I needed to do at the same time. 
(**I had to pay a bill online, 'phone in my electricity and gas meter readings that I managed to get Er1c to read for me and load up the washing machine with the last two weeks worth of dirty socks etc. 
)
Long story short, I didn't get nearly enough time with the laptop before I had to go out to get it remotely ready to take out with me today. 
In the evening, I went round to Bisset and Hazel's for the first time in four months. The stairs were a bit of a challenge, but otherwise I really enjoyed seeing my friends, and from my POV the evening was a success. 
I watched the final of "Only Connect".
