I spent the best part of nine hours drinking coffee and refreshing my emails waiting for 34SP to tell me the migration had started. Until around teatime, when they emailed to say that they had one engineer on holiday, and the one who had been dealing with me was out of the office till next Thursday, so the long and the short of it was that the migration wouldn't happen till *next* monday. 
But I've initialised the server, with the *proper* version of Ubuntu, so at least I've made a start. 
I've watched "Boss". 
My plan for the rest of the night was to settle down in front of Netflix, but the app has just told me I need to Log In again, and it won't recognise my password. 
I told it I had forgotten, and it claims to have emailed me a link... That was fifteen minutes ago, and there's no sign of it yet. 
I don't have any downloaded shows to watch, ort rather all those I do have are on the Tablet ready to take to hospital tomorrow. 
So... I've got the best part of a pint of strong alcoholic 
set up so I could drink it while I watched TV, and no TV to watch.

Update - Netflix sorted the password out over the 'phone.
